David (Chump) Gibbs

MASTER MECHANIC

David “Chump” Gibbs joined the KAMEX Services team in 2021, bringing hands-on experience and a deep mechanical lineage to the shop. A proud member of the Operators Union since 2017, Chump spent several years working on the pipeline before stepping into his current role as Shop Foreman and Lead Mechanic.

Raised in a family of seasoned mechanics, Chump has built a reputation for precision, reliability, and problem-solving under pressure. His specialties include welding and fabrication, hydraulic hose assembly, heavy equipment diagnostics and repair, mobile line boring, fleet maintenance, emergency service calls, cylinder rebuilds, and both field and shop operations. He’s also proficient with dealer-compatible software, ensuring seamless integration with modern equipment systems.

Chump lives in Hettick, IL with his wife Jessica and their three young children. When he’s not turning wrenches or leading the shop, he’s likely enjoying time with his family.

Brett Agne

PARTS MANAGER

Brett joined the Kamex Services team in 2025, bringing over 25 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry. Prior to his current role, Brett worked at Fabick Cat as a Parts Counterman, where he developed a deep understanding of parts operations and built lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Brett's time at Fabick laid the foundation for his transition into management and helped shape his approach to service and efficiency.

As the Parts Manager at Kamex Services, Brett oversees all aspects of parts procurement for both Kamex machinery and customer-owned equipment. Brett's responsibilities include sourcing, ordering, and managing inventory to ensure our operations run smoothly and our clients receive timely support. Brett takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability in every part of the process.

Outside of work, Brett resides in Fairview Heights, Illinois, with his wife Andrea. They enjoy spending quality time together and staying active in their community. When Brett is not at the office, you will often find him on the golf course—it's his favorite way to unwind and stay competitive.

Jennifer Olivas

PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

Jennifer plays a pivotal role at KAMEX Services, working one-on-one with the lead mechanic to ensure every job is accurately documented and invoiced. Her sharp attention to detail and proactive communication style keeps operations running smoothly, from managing invoices and entering data into QuickBooks to supporting day-to-day office functions. Jennifer is the connective thread between the shop floor and the front office, translating technical work into clear, timely billing and client communication.

Before joining KAMEX in August 2024, Jennifer built a vibrant career in the performing arts. A proud BFA dance graduate from Webster University and native of Festus, Missouri, she toured internationally as a performer and appeared on America’s Got Talent. She also choreographed and taught at institutions including Brigham Young University, Southern Illinois University, Webster University, and UMSL.

Outside of work, Jennifer channels her energy into fitness as a CrossFit trainer and Gym Manager, all while raising four kids. Her discipline, creativity, and drive—honed through years on stage and in the studio—now fuel her success in every facet of life.
